Watters tries to ‘Escape’ Casa Loma

On July 8th, our team traveled to Toronto’s Famous Castle, Casa Loma, to try and escape from the tower, secret hallways and dark basements.  At Watters Environmental, we try to organize multiple team building events (big and small) throughout the year.  The main event always being the most exhilarating, group focused and anticipated by the team and their partners. We try to choose events that are fun, team-building and encourage collaboration.

Escape Casa Loma’ was the company we worked with for this event.

They were amazing to work with and made our experience in all three of the escape rooms memorable and more enjoyable. We divided our group into teams, depending on which escape room we wanted to try. Then attempted to solve the three different escape rooms in a time span of one hour or less.

The rooms were “King of the Bootleggers”, “Escape from the Tower”, and “Station M”. Despite none of the teams escaping within the hour, everyone had great things to tell about their experience, laughs to share about certain moments and overall enjoyed the experience.

Upon completion of the Escape Rooms at Casa Loma, everyone regrouped and traveled together on a party limo bus to Canyon Creek for drinks, dinner, and continued sharing stories and laughter into the night.

As a company, we would recommend trying an ‘Escape Room’ with your team!

We believe this event will encourage your team (& their guests) to be creative, think outside the box, and work together.  Another benefit is that it allows people who may not work together often come together to achieve a common goal. It was great to watch people take lead in certain tasks and gain confidence as time went on.

There are many different types, themes and size of Escape rooms across the GTA, increasing the odds of finding the perfect one for you!

Another Watters Shindig done and in the books, time to start planning next years…
