Environmental Policy

Watters Environmental Group is committed to protecting the environment through the continual improvement of our environmental performance by developing and implementing sustainable business strategies that we employ internally and with our clients.

In delivering our commitment we will:

• Apply sound environmental practices to internal operations and purchasing decisions. We will seek ways to minimize our consumption of resources, including energy, paper and water. 
• Develop, maintain and communicate effective sustainable policies, procedures, standards and guidelines for our business activities, to address environmental issues and risks material to Watters Environmental Group, its clients and its other stakeholders.
• Comply with the relevant environmental legislation and take a proactive approach to future environmental legal requirements.
• Measure environmental performance and set objectives that will be regularly reviewed with the aim of continual improvement by reducing, re-using and/or recycling.
• Ensure that all Watters Environmental Group employees are aware that they have a duty of care for the environment, and provide all employees with the necessary environmental management training specific to their job requirements.
• Work with our suppliers and contractors to ensure that they are made aware of our environmental policy and that they have equivalent programs in place for managing their impact on the environment.
